Case Study: Inspiring Staff To Get More Creative With iPhone Video.

NEED

As the video camera continues to improve on iPhones, the largest Apple Store in the South East of England wanted their staff to get more creative with their iPhones. They wanted to know how businesses were using Apple tools in real life to make videos and wanted staff to impress potential customers with slick footage, new features and tips on using the phone to make videos.

Snow follows the founder of Unknown Epic and Touch Video Academy, as he explains why he’s drawn to cold, white places. A short adventure film shot and edited entirely on iPhone.

SOLUTION

We gave a Workshop and Q&A session for all staff at the Brighton Apple Store based on all the methods apps and process’ used to make an early short film by Touch Video Academy Founder Kim Slade.

The film was shot with nothing but an iPhone 6 and edited on the phone while on the flight home from the adventure featured in the film.

IMPACT

The feedback from the Workshop was “5 stars”. The staff were left full of new skills and inspiration to share with customers, and to start making more videos themselves. Helen King, Lead Trainer at the store said,

“It was really impressive, everyone loved it. We all feel like we’ve “real-lifed” up”
